Dim Sum Library

Located in Pacific Place is the dim sum library, a modern take on the traditional cha chaan teng, with a black gold theme. I tried 3 dishes in total and I can confidently say the Yu Xiang crispy pork dumplings were my favourite. Charcoal coloured they looked very refined and the pork inside was soft so it melted on your tongue. The dough was not too thick which can sometimes throw me off such dishes, but this was made to perfection.

After, I tried the black garlic siu mai with shrimp and pork. I loved the garlic inside, it has a slight tang of balsamic vinegar and a mild sweetness, which was an interesting version of the traditional siu mai.

Lastly, I tried the truffle chicken, the skins were crispy, the meat tender and moist with a truffle taste.

I would highly recommend the Dim Sum Library and suggest bringing a cardigan when visiting.
